Retired Executive Director, Cogswell Hall
Diana Cyganovich, J.D., M.S.S.A. has been the Executive Director of Cogswell Hall since July 2002. During her tenure, Diana has led the agency’s growth and development as a premiere innovative permanent supportive housing program, offering residents opportunities to grow as individuals while building community. Diana received a Juris Doctorate and Master in Social Services Administration from Case Western Reserve University. A resident of the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood of Cleveland for 34 years, Diana and her husband, David, enjoy living and working within this vibrant community.
After a number of years practicing law, specializing in juvenile and family matters, Diana stepped into the non-profit field and has remained there for over 30 years. She developed and managed the first legal advocacy program at Templum, serving victims of domestic violence. She later became the Executive Director of the agency, expanding programs to include a supervised visitation center. Today Diana’s focus is housing, serving and advocating for and with low-income adults struggling with the effects of mental illness, intellectual and other physical disabling conditions, substance abuse, homelessness and trauma.
